Something not working?

Write to theitgroupapps@gmail.com and a person will read it. Tell us what you were doing and what happened instead — if it involves a transfer, the link or the file name is enough for us to find it. We answer every message.

A link says the transfer has expired

Transfers are deliberately temporary. The sender chooses how long one lasts, and when that time passes the link stops working and the files are removed from storage. A transfer can also close early if it hits the download limit the sender set. Neither can be undone — ask the sender to send it again.

A link is asking for a password

The sender locked that transfer. Only they can tell you the password; we cannot read it or reset it. Tap the eye in the password box to check what you have typed before you assume it is wrong.

I only want some of the files

Open the link and tick the ones you want. You can take a single file, a few, or everything at once, and you can look at a file before deciding to save it at all. Looking at one does not count as a download.

Will my files lose quality?

No. Files are stored and served as the exact bytes that were uploaded. Nothing is re-encoded, resized or compressed on the way through, so a photo or video arrives as the file it started as.

I did not get the email about a transfer

Check the spam folder first, and check the address the sender used. If your account email is unconfirmed, transfers sent to it will not appear in the app until you confirm it — the app offers to resend that confirmation on the Received screen.

Sending a document for signature

Every plan can send a document for signature: three a month on Free, ten on Plus, and no limit from Pro up. Start a request from Account in the app, or at transferitapp.com/signatures signed in. You upload a PDF, name up to five people, and mark where each one signs; each gets their own private link by email. A signer never needs an account. If a signer says their link does not work, check the request has not been cancelled or passed its closing date — both are shown on the request’s page — and use Copy link there to send it again.

Changing or cancelling a subscription

Plans are billed by the store you installed the app from, so cancellation happens there rather than here. Open Account, then Change plan, and use the link to your subscription settings. Cancelling stops the renewal; the plan keeps working until the period you have paid for ends. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — do that first.

Deleting your account

Account, then Delete account, in the app. It removes your account and every transfer you have sent, and it cannot be undone. If you would rather keep the account and tidy the list, archiving a transfer hides it without deleting anything.

Reporting a transfer

Every download page has a Report link. Reports are read by a person, and a reported transfer may be blocked while that happens. You can also write to theitgroupapps@gmail.com.
